Hello Peaceful Company!!

I LOVE the aromatherapy patches I ordered from you!! I tell everyone about them!

Now the real reason for the email. I don't usually do contests, but if there is anyone who deserves a gift certificate to your store and who has made a life change toward peace, it is my mother. My mother, Beth Hall, is retired now. She had my sister and I at a young age and was finishing college and working while were were toddlers. She worked in a high-stress job: CPA for her entire career and still found time to manage a household and make natural foods (she made granola, made yogurt and homemade bread, jams, etc. when we were kids), raise us and be active in our church (with the help of my wonderful peaceful father of course). I am a high-stress person. My mother has always known exactly what to say to help me find peace. She is so good at it, a few years ago she was asked to be the key note speaker at the Community College graduation! High-stress people gravitate toward her because she exudes a calming, peaceful nature.

When my father (who is also inherently peaceful and one of the hardest working people ever put on this planet: engineer/farmer) was diagnosed with diabetes, she retired from public accounting. Now they do composting, have an organic veggie farm, and eat mostly vegetarian. My mother practices yoga, has taken up the violin, and travels the world to places where she feels a spiritual connection. She studies genealogy and attends groups focused on local and organic foods and where to get them (they live in a small town where there is no chain store for natural foods - you have to seek out farmers markets and ask a lot of questions about how the food is grown). Now my mother buys natural cleansing products, recycles, and drives less to conserve energy too.

She has shown that anyone can make a change for a peaceful, healthy lifestyle... and that being peaceful doesn't mean doing nothing. She still serves as a financial advisor to various community businesses and charities, and she and my father been an inspiration to all who know them about organic farming, eating right, and taking the time to find peace. She and my father have been to the gulf region to build homes for Habitat for Humanity (to help families there finally find some peace) in their recent travels and they plan to return with some friends. I can't think of anyone who is a better beacon of peace and peaceful living than my mother (who is only rivaled by my father!).
